The Client: Master Halco is North America's leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of perimeter security and fencing. Since 1961, Master Halco has been recognized as the provider of choice for thousands of professional fence and security contractors and quality building material retailers. Master Halco offers a complete line of high quality fence systems in both traditional and unique styles. Their products include vinyl, wood, ornamental, and chain-link fences and automated gates for residential, commercial, industrial, and high security applications.
The Results:
With eMOBUS’ electronic mobility management platform, Master Halco was able to consolidate twenty-eight accounts spread across three carriers. Within 60 days, their combined AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon billing costs dropped by 29% while their total units deployed grew by 16%. “eMOBUS offers better customer service for less than what we were originally paying the carriers,” claims Laurinda Citty, Network Engineer – Master Halco. “I used to spend hours each month sorting out billing errors and then reconciling those discrepancies against the following months invoice. The Challenges:
Due to geographical coverage areas, Master Halco was forced to support multiple service providers; AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. With their main focus on expanding their fencing enterprise, Master Halco’s cellular initiatives moved quickly down the priority list. As the company grew to 60 locations, so did its mobile workforce. Individual localized accounts were created and hundreds of employee expense reports carried hidden cellular charges. Each branch managed its own accounts individually, there was no corporate centralization. Manually processing the reports was tedious, time consuming and a distraction from core business objectives.
The Solution:
