eMOBUS Gains Valuable Expertise and Strategic Insight from Seasoned Enterprise and Startup Veterans
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 21 — eMOBUS, a leading vendor of mobility management services and software, today announced the formation of an Advisory Board. These selected individuals will serve as a representative sounding board to provide strategic insight to the rapidly growing company. The Advisory Board will help eMOBUS with customer development and product development efforts to ensure that the company’s products and vision remain closely aligned with its customers’ business objectives. The advisors include Aris Kekedjian, Philip Dodds, and Sean Murphy.
The Managing Director & CEO, GE Strategic Development & GE Capital, Middle East/Africa, has joined the Advisory Board of eMOBUS. As an advisor, Mr. Kekedjian will provide eMOBUS with insight into selling to large corporations and financial strategies. Mr. Kekedjian has worked in a variety of roles in the last twenty years: CFO, Mergers & Acquisitions, Investor Relations, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Audit, and Business Development. He has worked for various divisions of GE for the past 18 years.
“We are thrilled to have Mr. Kekedjian join our advisory board,” said Walter Wong, President of eMOBUS. “His financial experience and ability to manage large divisions in major enterprises will be vital in helping us meet our next set of growth targets.”
“I have been impressed not only by my own evaluation of eMOBUS’ technology and services, but more so by customer response,” Kekedjian observed. “eMOBUS has identified a much more compelling approach beyond initial cost savings. After the cost configurations have been implemented, eMOBUS keeps the savings static while clients process orders and move/add/changes to their wireless accounts.”
As an advisor, Mr. Dodds will provide eMOBUS with database and business intelligence insight as the company continuously refines their technology. Philip has worked in a variety of roles in the last 15 years: CTO of DevZuz, Co-Founder of Unity Systems, and consultant to various global banks and multimedia companies.
“We are pleased to have Philip’s expertise,” states Moe Arnaiz, CEO of eMOBUS. “He brings experience in evolving cloud technology space and also pragmatic advice on the application of technology to solve real needs.”
“It is a wonderful opportunity to work with the eMOBUS team in the rapidly growing mobility space,” said Mr. Dodds. “eMOBUS’ SaaS model offers a real-world opportunity to manage that growth, and continue to do so through a scalable cloud-based software solution.”
As an advisor, Mr. Murphy will provide eMOBUS with strategic insight into marketing and scaling a new technology. Mr. Murphy has worked in a variety of roles in the last 25 years: software engineering, engineering management, business development, and product marketing at companies such as Cisco , AMD , MMC Networks, 3COM and VLSI Technology.
Francis Adanza, VP of Marketing & Alliances, states, “Sean’s track record of successfully growing startups and departments within Fortune 500 enterprises will help us exploit niche market opportunities as well as sustain the long sales cycles of closing large corporations.”
“I was delighted when asked to be of assistance,” said Mr. Murphy. “eMOBUS offers a unique software-enabled service that directly addresses their customers’ needs.” Sean continues, “Many entrepreneurs take an ‘if I build they will come’ approach, where eMOBUS has built an application in response to ongoing engagement with customers around their pain and real needs.”
